Veeam announced its first-party BaaS offerings, Cirrus by Veeam, a new solution available now through all Veeam and Cirrus channels, designed to protect both Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure earlier today. These BaaS solutions combine the confidence and reliability of Veeam’s backup and restore capabilities with the simplicity of Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), giving companies the option of simplifying the management and administration of their backup operations with all the resiliency of Veeam technology.
Veeam’s new BaaS offering addresses customer and market demand for a Veeam-first SaaS solution while providing customers and MSPs with increased flexibility on how they wish to use Veeam and manage their Microsoft 365 and Azure data. These offerings align with the unique and distinctive offerings that our VCSPs have developed, giving customers the best-in-modern-data protection-freedom of choice through:
- NEW BaaS for Microsoft 365 and Azure data protection for a simple, seamless SaaS experience, without having to manage the infrastructure or storage.
- A backup service from a Veeam Cloud and Service Provider partner powered by the Veeam Data Platform, with value-added services unique to their area of expertise.
- Veeam’s existing solutions for Microsoft 365 and Azure data protection by deploying the software and managing the infrastructure.
