Following this accreditation, Computime were identified as sole V-Alliance partners in Malta.
“We are extremely pleased to have attained Gold status in the Microsoft Partner Program. This allows us to strongly promote our expertise and relationship with Microsoft to our customers,” says Andrew Borg, Joint Managing Director at Computime. “The benefits provided through our Gold Certified status will allow us to continue to enhance the offerings that we provide to our customers.”
“Clients are looking for partner companies that can bridge the gap between their business demands and technology capabilities. They need to trust someone that can act as an expert adviser for their long-term strategic technology plans. When Microsoft Partners attain various Silver and Gold competencies, which are linked to certified expertise and direct training and support from Microsoft, they can build a positive customer experience with our technologies,” said Adrianna Zammit, Country Manager for Microsoft Malta. “Today, Microsoft recognizes Computime as a member of the new Microsoft Partner Network for demonstrating its expertise in providing customer satisfaction with Microsoft products and technology.”
As part of the requirements for attaining Gold Status, Computime had to declare a Microsoft Gold Competency. Microsoft Competencies are designed to help differentiate a partner’s capabilities with specific Microsoft technologies to customers looking for a particular type of solution. Each competency has a unique set of requirements and benefits, formulated to accurately represent the specific skills and services that partners bring to the technology industry.
“Microsoft Partners with Gold competencies are our elite business partners. They have the knowledge, skills and commitment to help clients implement technology solutions that match their exact business needs. To gain accreditation and the right to use our official logo, all Certified Partners must employ Microsoft Certified Professionals and have at least one Microsoft Competency”, Says Kevin Schembri, SMS&P Segment Lead, for Microsoft Malta. “To earn a Gold Competency, partners must pass tough exams and have onboard at least four unique individuals certified at MCITP level. They are required to renew their Competency every year, so you can be sure they're always on top of the latest skills and information”
Attaining the Server Platform Gold competency helps capitalise on strong customer demand for Windows Server and Windows Server based infrastructure solutions. Driving this growth are top chief information officer (CIO) priorities, such as the need to reduce IT infrastructure costs, the need to provide applications to run businesses and reach customers more effectively, disaster recovery, server virtualisation and server consolidation.
