Akakus Oil Operations

Infor-SunSystems and Maximo as a financial and operational solution in upstream business.

 

Computime was contracted by Akakus Oil Operations (formerly Repsol Oil Operations) in Libya to supply and implement Infor-SunSystems in 1999. The solution includes Ledger Accounting, Multicurrency, Fixed Assets, Corporate Allocations, Purchasing and Inventory Control, with Vision used for reporting.

The solution enables the support of complex accounting requirements such as the reallocation of Capex costs, Joint Venture accounting, Billing, Cash Calls, etc. In addition, the analysis configuration supports cost analysis tracking by Well, AFE (and SOR), Vendor Contracts and other criteria, and gives Akakus a proper solution for Joint Venture and Partner Accounting.

As a separate project, Computime have implemented Maximo which provides Akakus Oil Operations with full operational procurement, maintenance and costings functionality. Maximo is fully integrated with Infor-SunSystems.
