AirMalta

Computime were responsible for the setup, installation, commissioning and support of an  ATM-based private network in Malta - the AirMalta campus - providing connectivity to over 600 users. The selection of the Computime solution was based on cost-effectiveness and exclusive local expertise that Computime enjoy in designing and delivering networks of such corporate and demanding nature.

Again, Computime was also selected to provide the network and Internet security solution. Computime's expertise was used to benefit from the use of the Internet to act as a secure WAN.  The AirMalta wide area network, consisting of some 15 offices spread worldwide consists of a virtual private network over the Internet ensuring secure data transmission through encryption. The platform used in all these sites is based on the leading FireWall and VPN solution.

Controlling and managing Internet bandwidth connectivity (and hence cost and user productivity) also through the Firewall technology, it caters for multiple ISP connectivity ensuring non-stop Internet operation.  Notwithstanding the geographical coverage of this network, management is centralised in Malta.
